Role Overview

Java House is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical and refrigeration systems across assigned branches. The primary objective is to ensure that all equipment is functional, safe for operators, and compliant with food safety standards. In addition to technical refrigeration and electrical work, the role involves performing general facility repairs to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance: Execute preventive and reactive maintenance for electrical lighting, wiring systems, and general electrical equipment in assigned locations to guarantee functionality and operator safety.
Refrigeration Inspections: Regularly inspect refrigeration units to verify they are operating correctly and safely.
General Facility Repairs: Perform basic plumbing, masonry, and carpentry tasks as needed within the assigned Java House locations.
Food Safety Compliance: Conduct maintenance tasks specifically aimed at eliminating food safety hazards to maintain high hygiene standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities in the prescribed formats for future reference and audits.

Job Specifications

Qualifications

Must possess a Diploma in Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of practical, hands-on experience specifically as a refrigeration maintenance technician.
