Tutorial Fellow - Subject Methods Literature at Mount Kenya University

Instruction and Learning: Deliver high-quality learning experiences through the preparation of teaching materials, class activities, and actual delivery of the curriculum. Ensure adherence to teaching requirements as per the curriculum.
Assessment: Administer Continuous Assessments Tests (CATs). Responsible for examination setting, moderation, administration, and marking in a timely manner.
Research and Publication: Identify sources of funding through grant writing, engage in publishing academic papers, and participate in workshops, conferences, and professional seminars. Collaborate with internal and external researchers to establish linkages.
Mentorship: Guide students at undergraduate and graduate levels in identifying research topics, concept and proposal development, and providing supervision.
Academic Management: Maintain accurate student records (registers, reports, and achievements) within the Academic Management System. Keep abreast of developments in the academic discipline to shape curriculum content.
Administration: Perform administrative duties as required, including leadership of academic programmes and membership in various school committees.
