Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Merchandise Handling & Delivery: Receive, stack, and stage merchandise on pallets or carts by department. Mark and deliver goods to the appropriate sections.
• Inventory Management: Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies. Monitor stock levels and promptly notify managers or supervisors of low stock.
• Receiving & Quality Control: Inspect incoming deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality. Properly date and store perishables, ensuring stock rotation (FIFO). Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to strict food safety and handling procedures. Clean, organize, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, drains, and food equipment. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow company safety policies, report injuries or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training. Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
• Physical Operations: Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in store management roles, preferably in a 5-star Hotel environment.
