Job Description
Mawego Technical Training Institute is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Driver III. The driver will be responsible for operating institute vehicles safely, detecting mechanical issues, and performing routine vehicle maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Driving vehicles and detecting common mechanical faults.
Carrying out minor repairs.
Maintaining work tickets for assigned vehicles.
Ensuring the safety of the vehicle both on and off the road.
Ensuring the safety of passengers and goods.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
Requirements and Qualifications
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D plain or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Valid driving license free from current endorsements and valid for required vehicle classes.
Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade II.
First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized institution.
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police.
Minimum of four (4) years active driving experience.
Adequate knowledge of the Highway Code.
Aged 45 years and below.
