KCA University (KCAU) is a private, non-profit institution founded in 1989. The University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager for Recruitment, Selection & Placement. This role is central to attracting, selecting, and retaining high-caliber talent to drive the university's strategic goals. The successful candidate will lead the talent acquisition function, championing innovative recruitment processes and fostering a positive employer brand.
Responsibilities
Strategic Recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the University’s strategic direction to attract and retain top talent.
Employer Branding: Lead the employer brand and candidate experience to ensure a positive journey throughout the recruitment process.
Talent Assessment: Establish innovative processes for assessing talent, including screening criteria, interview formats, and technical tests/assignments.
Technology Management: Manage talent acquisition technology and tools (ATS, job boards, etc.) to enable data-driven decision-making and improve efficiency.
Stakeholder Relations: Build relationships with internal stakeholders, employment agencies, and external partners to support hiring goals.
Integration and Retention: Develop and implement onboarding and retention strategies to successfully integrate new hires and retain top talent.
Human Capital Alignment: Analyse the utilisation of Human Capital and ensure the right talent is in place by aligning employee capabilities with strategic goals.
Metrics and Reporting: Track, analyse, and report recruitment metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Workforce Planning: Undertake workforce analytics to understand dynamics and forecast future hiring needs.
Compliance and Verification: Design and implement policies for reference/background checks and ensure maintenance of recruitment records.
Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the hiring process.
Job Analysis: In collaboration with stakeholders, conduct job analyses and develop job descriptions for University staff.
Policy Review: Analyse reports on the effectiveness of HC policies and identify gaps for review.
Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of the Department budget, work plan, and resourcing plan.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Master’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field from a recognised/accredited institution AND a Bachelor’s degree in the same.
Professional Certification: Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Experience: At least eight (8) years of work experience in talent acquisition, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role within a University or a comparable institution.
Membership: Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and in good standing.
Technical Skills: Computer skills in relevant areas from a recognised institution and proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR analytics tools.

Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and workforce analytics tools.
