Alupe University College (AUC), a Constituent College of Moi University, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Lecturer in Physical Education & Sports. The successful candidate will be responsible for academic instruction at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the modernization of physical education programs.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Mentorship: Instruct undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physical education and sports science specializations.
Program Development: Design and review Physical Education curricula to integrate contemporary trends such as e-sports, data analytics, and inclusive sports.
Facility Management: Oversee sports laboratories and coordinate practical field assessments for students.
Professional Liaison: Act as a primary contact and liaison with National Sports Federations.
Research and Publication: Participate in research projects and publish findings in refereed sports journals.
Community Engagement: Actively participate in community service and outreach initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic Qualifications: Must possess an earned PhD or equivalent degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise Science, or a closely related field from an accredited University.
Graduate Degree: A Master’s degree in Physical Education or Sports Science is required.
Teaching Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of university teaching experience at the rank of Tutorial Fellow or Assistant Lecturer.
Publication Record: Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, with at least sixteen (16) points coming from refereed journal papers.
Professional Certification: Valid certification or registration with relevant sports bodies is required.
Foreign Qualifications: Candidates with qualifications from foreign institutions must provide certification from the Commission for University Education (CUE).

Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct)
