The Lecturer in Pharmacy at The Nairobi Women's Hospital College is responsible for providing high-quality educational instruction to students within the Pharmacy discipline. The role involves teaching, rigorous assessment, and evaluation of students to ensure they meet the required academic and professional standards in the pharmaceutical field.
Responsibilities
Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in Pharmacy-related subjects according to the approved curriculum.
Assessment: Design, administer, and grade examinations and other assessment tools to evaluate student learning and progress.
Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate student performance in the discipline area, providing feedback and guidance where necessary.
Pedagogy: Apply modern teaching methodologies, particularly those relevant to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Requirements
Education: A Degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant area (Pharmacy).
Training: Additional certification or training in TVET Education or Pedagogy.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
Professionalism: Must be registered by the relevant professional body where applicable (e.g., Pharmacy and Poisons Board).
