The Nairobi Women's Hospital is seeking a Lecturer specialized in Microbiology and Biochemistry to join their academic team. The primary focus of this role is to provide high-quality instruction and academic guidance to students within these scientific disciplines.
Role Overview
The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive educational content, facilitating student learning, and conducting rigorous assessments and evaluations to ensure students meet the required competency levels in Microbiology and Biochemistry.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality instruction and lectures to students in the discipline area.
Assessing and evaluating student performance through examinations and coursework.
Developing and updating teaching materials and curriculum content.
Providing mentorship and academic support to students.
Ensuring compliance with educational standards and professional body requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Possession of a Degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant area (Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field).
Additional training in TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Education or Pedagogy is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
Must be registered by the relevant professional body where applicable.
