Inventory Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Ownership: Own end-to-end inventory management, including receiving, storage, stock reconciliation, and dispatch of components and finished goods.
• Inventory Tracking: Establish and implement robust processes for inventory tracking, cycle counting, and audits to ensure accuracy. Design and implement dashboards and reports to enable data-driven inventory planning and decision-making.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to support production, aftermarket service, and field operations while reducing working capital locks.
• ERP Implementation: Implement digital inventory tools/ERP systems to drive real-time visibility and forecasting.
• Spares Planning: Manage spares planning and logistics to provide timely support to service and field teams in Kenya and other regions.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Requirements

• Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, materials management, and supply chain fundamentals.
• Proven experience implementing and operating ERP or digital inventory management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-location inventory and field logistics across geographies.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams including supply chain, production, logistics, and service.
