Director Human Resource Management and Development

The Director of Human Resource Management and Development at the County Government of Nandi is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the county's human capital. The role focuses on policy formulation, industrial relations, and management of public service transformation programs.

Requirements for Appointment

• Bachelor's degree in human resource/ Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Public/Business Administration, or other related qualifications from a recognized institution
• Master's degree in human resource/ Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Public/Business Administration, or other related fields
• Must have served in the grade of Deputy Director Human Resource management and Development for at least 3 years
• Professional Certification in Leadership and Management
• Training and thorough knowledge in Job Evaluation Schemes
• At least 10 years professional experience in a relevant field, 5 years of which should be in a senior leadership position with demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of the institutional and legal framework in Kenya, as well as of relevant Public Service transformation programmes
• Should be a Certified Member of the Human Resource Management Professionals (CHRP-K)
• Should be a Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
