Konoin Technical Training Institute is seeking a dedicated Communication Skills Trainer to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for empowering students with critical language and communication competencies, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional world. The role involves curriculum delivery, student assessment, and active participation in the institutional growth of the training department.
Responsibilities and Duties
Instructional Delivery: Conduct comprehensive theoretical and practical lessons in communication skills.
Preparation: Develop detailed lesson plans, schemes of work, and high-quality training materials.
Mentorship: Supervise students' projects and guide them through industrial attachments.
Assessment: Evaluate and assess students' competencies to ensure they meet the required standards.
Curriculum Management: Actively participate in the development and implementation of the curriculum.
Facility Oversight: Maintain a high standard of discipline, cleanliness, and organization within the training areas.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Communication, English, Linguistics, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Pedagogy: Possession of a TVET Trainer Certificate (Pedagogy).
Registration: Must be officially registered as a trainer with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant teaching or industrial experience.
Technology: Proficient in computer applications (Computer Literate).
