Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chicken Production Manager based in Nairobi to oversee and coordinate our poultry processing and abattoir operations. The successful candidate will lead production teams, ensure strict compliance with HACCP and food safety guidelines, and optimize the overall efficiency of our poultry supply chain.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field. Additional qualifications in Operations Management or Food Processing will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in poultry processing or meat production.
Minimum of two (2) years managing a commercial poultry abattoir.
Proven experience leading production teams.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of poultry processing systems.
Experience implementing HACCP and food safety systems.
