Job Description
The Administrator (Accounts & Stock) role involves overseeing inventory control, managing customer orders, and coordinating administrative tasks at the branch level. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in stock monitoring, order processing, and general accounting administration.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishments, verify deliveries, perform reconciliations, maintain inventory records, and support audits and stock takes.
Order Processing: Prepare quotations, invoices, delivery notes, and courier documents. Coordinate picking and dispatching, and resolve fulfillment issues.
Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, process returns, handle complaints, issue credit notes, and maintain strong client relationships.
Pricing & Procurement: Draft quotes for consumables, spare parts, and services. Partner with technical teams and suppliers to verify pricing and follow up.
Branch Administration: Compile stock reports, update database records, assist with debtor follow-ups, and ensure procedural compliance using corporate ERP systems.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
Previous experience in stock control, inventory administration, warehouse administration, or operations administration.
Hands-on experience using an ERP/inventory management system.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated experience in inventory management, order processing, and customer service.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
