About the Role
AGL (Africa Global Logistics) is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor based in Nairobi to oversee the day-to-day logistics and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for stock management, team supervision, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Stock Management
Oversee accurate tallying during Finished Goods (FG) receipt from production lines, ensuring alignment with relevant documents.
Oversee accurate tallying during loading and offloading processes.
Supervise handlers and gangs to ensure proper handling of stock to avoid damage or accidents.
Assist the warehouse controller in preparing stacking space, personnel, and equipment in a timely manner.
Ensure all stock is stacked in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Ensure stock cards are filled in to maintain record visibility for all storage activities.
Ensure the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is updated on time.
Documentation
Ensure correct archiving of warehouse documentation.
Maintain a stock register on a daily basis.
Receive and file warehouse receipt and issuing reports.
Other Duties
Carry out all tasks delegated by the operations manager and relevant warehouse controller.
Strictly abide by SOP and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) regulations.
Record and report damages, losses, or surpluses of stock to the warehouse controller, inventory supervisor, and inventory controller.
Profile and Requirements
Tertiary education in Supply Chain Management (BA/BSc/HND).
Minimum of 5 years total professional experience.
At least 2 years of specific experience in supply chain or a related field.
At least 3 years of practical experience in SAP.
Training in MS Office suite and other industry-related courses would be an advantage.
