We are seeking a dynamic Virtual Care Business Development Officer to drive the growth and expansion of our virtual healthcare services. This role focuses on identifying new revenue opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and increasing adoption of virtual care solutions across corporate, insurance, and individual client segments. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of healthcare knowledge and business development experience, with the ability to translate clinical services into scalable commercial offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and execute a strategy to grow the virtual care business.
Identify new markets and client segments for virtual healthcare services.
Design and package virtual care offerings for corporate clients, insurers, and individuals.
Track industry trends and competitor offerings in telemedicine and digital health.
Sales & Partnerships
Identify and secure new partnerships with corporate organizations, insurance companies, and health networks.
Develop proposals, pricing models, and contracts for virtual care services.
Lead negotiations and close new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients.
Ensure successful onboarding and implementation of virtual care services.
Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for expansion.
Product & Service Development
Work closely with the clinical and technology teams to refine virtual care offerings.
Help design new services such as teleconsultations, remote monitoring, and virtual wellness programs.
Provide feedback from clients to improve service delivery.
Performance & Reporting
Track revenue and growth targets for the virtual care business.
Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, partnerships, and business performance.
Monitor utilization and profitability of virtual services.
Requirements and Qualifications
A degree in BA, BSc, or HND in a relevant field.
Strong blend of healthcare knowledge and business development experience.
Proven ability to translate clinical services into scalable commercial offerings.
Experience in sales strategy, partnership management, and contract negotiation.
