The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding the company's market presence in the ICT solutions sector.
Main Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across corporate, enterprise, and institutional markets.
Key Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with key corporate and institutional clients.
Corporate & Enterprise Sales: Lead corporate sales initiatives targeting medium to large organizations, government agencies, NGOs, and private sector enterprises.
Market Development & Partnerships: Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, distributors, and technology partners.
Reporting & Performance Management: Track sales performance and provide regular reports on pipeline development, forecasts, and revenue achievements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A masters degree or professional certifications in sales, business development, or ICT will be an added advantage.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B technology environment.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management within the ICT, software, or IT solutions industry.
Experience building and managing long-term relationships with enterprise customers, government institutions, NGOs, or large private sector organizations.
Demonstrated experience in general sales, corporate sales, and key account management for technology products and solutions.
Benefits
Salary: KSh 200,000 - 300,000 plus company benefits
