Job Description
Our client, a prominent player in the events industry, is seeking an experienced and driven professional to take on the role of Head of Partnerships & Strategic Growth. This role is pivotal in leading corporate partnerships, sponsorship acquisition, and overall business expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying strategic growth opportunities, building and maintaining high-level relationships with corporate partners, and driving revenue through innovative sponsorship models.
Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Partnerships: Identify, approach, and secure high-value corporate partnerships and sponsorships within the events sector.
Business Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business expansion and revenue growth.
Client Management: Manage an existing portfolio of clients while actively networking to build new professional relationships.
Negotiation: Lead high-level negotiations to finalize partnership terms, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends to identify potential growth areas and competitive advantages.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is considered an added advantage.
Experience: 7–10 years of professional experience specifically in partnerships or business development roles.
Track Record: Proven success in securing significant corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
Portfolio: A strong existing client portfolio and a robust network within the corporate sector.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
