The Underwriting Credit Analyst is responsible for owning the Credit Risk Analysis for Citi Corporate Clients and managing the continuous monitoring of that portfolio. This includes producing Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and supporting Ad-Hoc Transactions as well as Portfolio & Industry Reviews. ### Key Responsibilities: - Assess the credit and financial strength of Citi’s Corporate Clients in Sub-Saharan Africa using fundamental quantitative and qualitative credit analysis. - Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and assign internal ratings based on independent assessment and client due diligence. - Maintain extensions of credit within the bank's Risk appetite. - Continuously monitor the portfolio, tracking industry trends and escalating potential credit issues to Senior Underwriters and Risk partners. - Partner with regional stakeholders to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards. ### Requirements: - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business, MBA, or a related field. - 0-3 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management, or equivalent. - Strong proficiency in both French and English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking). - Intermediate analytical skills, with an understanding of liquidity and leverage profiles. - Ability to execute change and adhere to bank policies. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). ### How to Apply: Interested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Citi careers portal using the link provided in the application section.
