Kisii University, a world-class institution dedicated to the advancement of social welfare, research, and academic excellence, is seeking to recruit a Tutorial Fellow in Management Science. The primary mission of this role is to train high-level human resource that meets the development needs of the country and the international labour market, while sustaining high-quality research and consultancy.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct undergraduate tutorials and assist senior faculty in the delivery of lectures within the Management Science department.
Engage in high-quality academic research and participate in the dissemination of knowledge, skills, and competencies.
Contribute to the development of course materials and curriculum enhancements.
Provide support in student assessments, grading, and academic advising.
Maintain active progress toward the completion of a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree.
Participate in departmental meetings, research seminars, and university committees as required.
Utilize proficiency in computer applications to enhance instructional delivery and research data management.
Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for appointment to the position of Tutorial Fellow, the candidate must have:
A Bachelor’s degree and a Master's degree from an accredited/recognized University.
Demonstrable potential for university teaching and/or research during the appointment interview and throughout the contract period.
Mandatory registration for a relevant Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree.
Evidence of membership or affiliation to a relevant professional body, where applicable.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in previous work performance.
