Kisii University is looking for a qualified academic professional to join its faculty as a Lecturer in Actuarial Science. Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for appointment to the position of Lecturer, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications: Must possess a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Actuarial Science or a relevant discipline from an accredited/recognized institution. Additionally, must hold an MSc degree in the relevant area from an accredited/recognized institution.
Research and Publications:
A minimum of twelve (12) research publication output points from refereed scholarly journals.
A minimum of two (2) points from publications in conference proceedings.
For applicants currently in research institutions: A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points is required.
For applicants from practice or industry: A minimum of six (6) publication points is required.
Professional Standing:
Evidence of recognition and registration by the relevant regulatory body where applicable.
Evidence of membership or affiliation with the relevant professional body where applicable.
