Job Description
Talent Grid Africa is seeking a professional and responsible Truck Driver to join their team. The primary purpose of this role is to transport goods safely to client locations and showrooms while maintaining the vehicle's condition and ensuring strict adherence to traffic laws and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Goods Transport: Safely transport goods to various client locations and showrooms as scheduled.
Vehicle Maintenance: Responsible for the condition of the vehicle, including scheduling servicing and ensuring all legal and safety compliance requirements are met.
Logistics Coordination: Ensure proper loading and offloading of goods and collaborate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams.
Operational Tracking: Accurately track and report mileage and fuel usage.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety protocols, and company standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
License: Must possess a valid BCE driving license with a clean driving record.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ commercial driving experience specifically within Nairobi.
Route Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Nairobi routes and its surrounding areas.
Professionalism: High level of responsibility, integrity, and a professional demeanor.
Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours when required.
