Job Description
Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, seeks to recruit a Trade Development Representative (TDR) for Eastleigh. The role focuses on performing channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float, while ensuring visibility and merchandising standards are met at points of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.
Key Responsibilities
SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping: Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of Agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.
Beat Plan Execution: Regularly visit SSOs and Agents according to agreed-upon route plans (beat plans) to maintain a consistent market presence.
Training & Tooling: Provide all necessary business tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets. Train SSOs and T-Kash Agents on operational processes.
Compliance & AML Training: Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training and testing for agents. Train SSOs on the Know Your Customer (KYC) processes related to SIM registration (SIMREG).
Stock Management: Monitor and enforce the 1.5x stock rule for agents. Ensure SSOs maintain an adequate stock of SIMs for new registrations and activations.
Merchandising: Develop and maintain high merchandising standards by providing and placing merchandising materials at SSOs and Agent outlets.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role, specifically within the FMCG or Telecommunications sectors.
