Halisi Family Hospital is seeking a dedicated Theatre Technologist for a locum position. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure surgical procedures are conducted in a safe, sterile, and well-prepared environment. You will be responsible for supporting surgical teams, maintaining theatre equipment and supplies, and preparing patients and instruments before and after surgeries.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure surgical procedures are conducted in a safe, sterile, and well-prepared environment.
Support surgical teams during operations.
Maintain theatre equipment and supplies to ensure availability and functionality.
Prepare patients and instruments before and after surgeries.
Adhere to strict sterility and safety protocols within the theatre environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology from a recognized institution.
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in a busy theatre environment.
Must be registered with the Kenya Health Professions Oversight Authority (KHPOA).
Possession of a valid Practice License.
Valid competency in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
