Assistant Physiotherapist III

Responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy services to patients within county health facilities.
• Conduct physical assessments and mobility evaluations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with physical impairments.
• Use therapeutic exercises and equipment to aid patient recovery.
• Monitor and record patient progress throughout the treatment cycle.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding physical health and injury management.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Kenyan Citizenship.
• A Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
• A minimum of one (1) year post-qualification experience in physiotherapy services.
• Proficiency in Computer applications.

General Conditions

• Candidates with foreign degrees must have them authenticated by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
• Shortlisted candidates will be required during the interview to submit academic certificates authenticated by the issuing institutions.
• Chapter 6 (Integrity) requirements will be required only from successful applicants.
• Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
