Role Purpose\nUnilever is looking for a Territory Manager who can bring their purpose to life through their work—creating a better business and a brighter world. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about developing and executing sales strategies, meeting and exceeding sales targets, building strong customer relationships, analyzing sales data, and ensuring efficient sales operations.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Determine infrastructural requirements of a distributor for a particular territory, including working capital needs.\n- Prepare distributor sales and KPI targets using the Joint Business Plan toolkit.\n- Manage working capital effectively by monitoring stocks, debtors, and cash positions.\n- Build excellent relationships at Key Distributor (KD) and Point of Purchase (POP) levels.\n- Recruit, set up, and train the distributor team through field coaching to deliver targets.\n- Set and review performance targets for all distributor teams through market floor meetings.\n- Monitor KD profitability using the ROI toolkit and implement improvement actions.\n- Ensure weekly submission of KD extracts for order processing.\n- Prepare beat plans for the sales team to ensure efficient territory coverage across all categories.\n- Prospect, negotiate, and initiate local actions in line with company policies.\n- Ensure the right product assortment, pricing, and availability across channels.\n- Achieve Field capability scores related to coverage, lines per call, and bill productivity.\n- Build the capability of distributor teams through field coaching and sales accompaniment.\n- Submit weekly and monthly reports, including ROI, profitability, working capital, and safety.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Economics.\n- At least 3 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in an FMCG environment.\n- Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.\n- Ability to develop sales infrastructures and organizations.\n- Experience in customer management and selling essentials.\n- Understanding of retailers and organizational capacity.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online by visiting the Unilever career portal at unilever.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com via the provided application link.
