Logbook Collection Agent

Key Responsibilities

• Logbook Retrieval: Collection of all logbooks for all loans issued from Dealers and distributors.
• Status Management: Updating transfer status of all collected logbooks/ data sent from the dealers and distributors.
• Urgent Follow-ups: Assisting in the collection and followup of the most urgent logbooks.
• Portal Management: Accepting/rejecting ownership of all transfers on TIMS, handling complications associated with the process.
• Direct Transfers: Requesting for direct transfers of logbooks on need basis.
• Record Keeping: Keeping records of all logbooks which ownership has been accepted and updating the same in our records.
• Administrative Tasks: Handling office tasks eg. filing, printing and keeping records.
• Communication: Preparing and sending data to distributors and dealers for those transfers that have not been successful for them to do follow up and resubmission.
• Liaison: Visiting and holding meetings with dealers and distributors.
• Reporting: Generating all required reports.
• Other Duties: Any other duty assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: At least two years of relevant experience.
• Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills and familiarity with TIMS portal.
• Language: Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Soft Skills: Strong desire to learn, professional drive, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Independence: Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.
