Job Description
An officer at this level will be deployed in a supply chain management unit in a ministry or department within the Embu County Government. The role involves handling various tasks related to the procurement cycle and inventory management to ensure efficient operations within the public service sector.
Responsibilities
Issuing and receiving stores items.
Assisting in periodic and annual stocktaking.
Carrying out inventory reconciliation.
Preparation and maintenance of supply chain records.
Assisting in the implementation of supply chain management policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean grade of C- (Minus) with a minimum of C- in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Professional Training: Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
