Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Officer – Digital IT, the role holder will be responsible for providing transport services and related duties in the assigned region. This position requires a professional who upholds the company's code of conduct and safety policies while ensuring efficient logistical operations for the Digital IT department.
Responsibilities
Transport & Logistics: Pick and drop off the IT Director and relevant staff to and from the field, including airport transfers and VIP pickups.
Operational Errands: Handle urgent Digital IT Operations errands, such as delivering and picking up urgent letters or parcels.
Staff Mobility: Transfer staff members between locations for official duties within agreed timelines.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine daily checks every morning to ensure company vehicles are in perfect condition. Monitor service schedules and manage the delivery of vehicles to and from the garage.
Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with road safety and traffic rules, including monitoring vehicle documentation and renewal dates.
Customer Service: Provide high-quality service in all interactions with staff and external customers.
Ethics & Accountability: Uphold the company code of conduct, ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in every aspect of the work.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum of O' Level education (KCSE).
Licensing: Must possess a valid driving license.
Technical Training: Completion of a Basic mechanics course – Government trade test III.
Experience: At least 5 years of working experience as a Senior driver.
