Senior Lecturer (Education In Technology)

Tom Mboya University is seeking a Senior Lecturer (Education In Technology) to join its academic staff. The university, which began as a Maseno University Learning Centre in 2010 and later transitioned into a full university in 2015, is dedicated to academic excellence in the Homa Bay region.

Requirements for Appointment

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the role:

• Academic Qualification: Must possess an earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field (Education In Technology) from an accredited and recognized university.
• Professional Experience: At least three (3) years of teaching or research experience at the university level as a Lecturer or Research Fellow; alternatively, at least six (6) years of research or industry experience.
• Research Output: A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points accumulated as a Lecturer or equivalent. Of these, at least twenty-four (24) points must be from refereed scholarly journals.
• Mentorship: Successfully supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion while serving as a Lecturer or equivalent.
• Professional Membership: Must be registered with the relevant professional body where applicable.
