Role Overview
The Senior Deputy Chief Health Administrative Officer is a senior leadership position within the Taita Taveta County health department, responsible for high-level administrative management and service delivery coordination. This role ensures that health systems operate effectively to support the county's healthcare mandates.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee administrative operations within county health facilities and departments.
Coordinate implementation of health management policies and standards.
Manage human resources and administrative personnel within the health sector.
Provide strategic leadership in health administration to ensure efficient service delivery.
Monitor performance and ensure work results meet established merits.
Ensure compliance with public service regulations and health sector guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Sociology, Health Administration, Business Administration/Management, Public Administration, Health Economics, or any other social science from a recognized institution.
A minimum of ten (10) years’ working experience, with at least five (5) years in a management level within the public or private sector.
Certificate in Computer Application skills from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
