We are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth across our software solutions portfolio. This is a hands-on execution role focused on pipeline generation, demos, deal closure, and strategic account growth. The successful candidate must be capable of independently driving demos, building pipeline, and closing enterprise software deals across SACCOs, MFIs, SMEs, NGOs, churches, and institutions. We are looking for a hunter and closer, not a passive account manager.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across SACCOs, MFIs, SMEs, NGOs, churches, and institutions.
Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, calls, meetings, referrals, networking, and strategic follow-ups.
Conduct product demonstrations across Core Banking, Mobile Banking, and ERP Systems.
Drive deals from first engagement through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Position solutions based on client pain points including support challenges, inaccurate reporting, operational inefficiencies, and compliance and regulatory concerns.
Work closely with the bid desk and technical teams to prepare winning proposals and presentations.
Maintain a clean, accurate, and actively updated sales pipeline.
Build long-term client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B software, fintech, ERP, or enterprise solution sales.
