School Fleet Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of all school vehicles (buses, vans, and staff vehicles).
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, serviced, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, fuel usage, and inspections.
• Supervise and manage school drivers, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to road safety and student transport policies.
• Coordinate transportation logistics for daily routes, school trips, and events.
• Monitor fuel consumption and control operational costs.
• Investigate and report accidents or incidents involving school vehicles.
• Ensure all licenses, insurance, and inspection certificates are up to date.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet management or transport coordination.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise and manage staff effectively.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.
