Tandeli is an artisanal microbakery based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in sourdough bread, cardamom buns, and focaccia with Gujarati influences. While operating primarily as an online bakery with deliveries, we are expanding to a new location on Rhapta Road and are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you will be part of our expansion into our new physical location on Rhapta Road, helping to manage customer interactions and facilitate sales of our artisanal baked goods.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with their selections and provide information about various bakery products including sourdough, cardamom buns, and focaccia.
Manage sales transactions efficiently.
Represent the brand and its unique Gujarati-influenced artisanal products to the public.
Ensure the retail environment is welcoming and aligned with brand standards.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND).
A passion for artisanal food and quality service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
