CIC Insurance Group Limited is seeking Sacco Assurance Sales Officers for its Retail Sales department in Nyahururu. This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The primary purpose of this role is to drive growth in the retail Life insurance portfolio by targeting SACCO members and the broader retail market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
Client Engagement: Educate new and existing clients on the benefits and features of various retail Life products.
Support & Delivery: Liaise with various internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotation Management: Provide timely and accurate quotations within specified turnaround times.
Market Analysis: Gather and report market intelligence to ensure the company maintains a competitive and updated product range.
Retention Management: Follow up with clients to ensure policy persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Advocacy: Actively promote the CIC brand within the region.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certification: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance, specifically COP (Certificate of Proficiency) or ECOP.
Advanced Certification: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is considered an added advantage.
Age Requirement: Applicants must be 25 years of age or older.
Core Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer care skills.
