This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The Sacco Assurance Sales Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the retail Life Business within the Embu region and the allocated market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educating new and existing clients on various retail Life insurance products to ensure they make informed decisions.
Service Delivery: Liaising with various departments within the organization to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotation Management: Providing timely and accurate quotations within the required turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gathering and reporting market intelligence to assist the company in maintaining an updated and competitive product range.
Persistency Management: Following up with clients to ensure policy persistency remains at an acceptable and profitable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promoting the CIC brand to enhance market visibility and reputation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance – COP/ECOP.
Advanced Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills: Exceptional customer care skills.
Age: Applicants must be 25 years of age and above.
