CIC Insurance Group Limited, an insurance and investment group operating in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi, is seeking Sacco Assurance Sales Officers for its Retail Sales division in Maralal. This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.
Role Overview
The primary focus of this position is to drive business growth within the retail life insurance sector by identifying market opportunities and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market sector.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on various retail Life products and their benefits.
Service Delivery: Liaise with relevant departments to ensure clients receive timely and efficient service.
Quotations: Provide accurate and timely insurance quotations within specified turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help maintain a competitive and updated product range.
Persistency Management: Follow up on policies to ensure premium payment persistency remains at acceptable rates.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the target market.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance, specifically COP (Certificate of Proficiency) or ECOP.
Advanced Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is considered an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer Service: Demonstrated excellence in customer care.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be 25 years of age and above.
