CIC Insurance Group Limited is an insurance and investment group that operates mainly in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi. We are seeking to recruit Sacco Assurance Sales Officers for our Retail Sales division in Laare. This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.
Role Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to drive growth in the retail Life Business within the allocated market while ensuring high-quality service delivery and brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on various retail Life products offered by the group.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the stipulated turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to ensure the company maintains an updated and competitive product range.
Retention: Follow up on policies to ensure the persistency rate remains at an acceptable level.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand within the target market.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Experience: Previous experience in sales or insurance is preferred.
Age: 25 years and above.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Customer Care: Excellent customer care skills.
