Sacco Assurance Sales Officers – Retail Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
• Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on the features and benefits of retail Life products.
• Service Coordination: Liaise with various departments to ensure clients receive timely and efficient service delivery.
• Quotations: Provide accurate and timely quotations to prospective clients within established turnaround times.
• Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to assist the company in maintaining an updated and competitive product range.
• Retention: Follow up on policies to ensure the persistency rate remains at an acceptable level.
• Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the local market.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
• Professional Certification: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP are required. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is considered an added advantage.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional customer care skills.
• Other: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
