Reporting to the Head of Oil & Gas, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving growth and managing high-value relationships within the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic growth plans, and maximizing the bank's share of business from existing clients across assets, liabilities, and non-funded income (NFI).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Business Prospecting: Identify and recruit new clients in the Oil & Gas sector and their wider ecosystems.
Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to grow the bank's market share in the Oil & Gas industry.
Portfolio Management: Actively manage an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring increased wallet share in NFI, assets, and liabilities.
Client Engagement: Lead presentations to clients, participate in marketing drives, and manage relationship-building activities.
Ecosystem Development: Promote the Oil & Gas ecosystem and work with regional teams to recruit sub-anchors.
Customer Service: Oversee customer service management as a core component of relationship building.
Operational Coordination: Work closely with departments such as Credit, Treasury, Trade Finance, and GOCAC to ensure seamless service delivery.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular competitor and industry analysis to monitor trends and review product offerings.
Reporting: Prepare customized client proposals and various internal reports based on client needs and visit outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
An undergraduate degree from a well-recognized university, preferably with a focus on business or marketing.
At least 7 years of experience in the banking sector, with a proven track record in Corporate or SME segments.
Previous experience as a Relationship Manager (RM) is a significant advantage.
Seasoned networking skills with established connections in the Corporate and SME space.
