UBA Kenya is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead one of our Business Offices within the Retail Banking division. This is a leadership role for a commercially driven professional ready to accelerate business growth, drive profitability and deliver exceptional customer experiences at the branch level. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new business opportunities and positioning the Bank as the preferred financial partner within the local market.
Responsibilities
Branch Performance & P&L: Take full ownership of the branch P&L, ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets while optimizing human and operational resources.
Business Development: Drive customer acquisition and retention, deepen relationships, and maximize share of wallet across all customer segments.
Operations Management: Lead branch operations to ensure seamless service delivery and a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
Compliance & Standards: Champion compliance with regulatory and internal policies, maintaining strong operational standards and risk management.
Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture within the team and provide mentorship to achieve strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
Strong banking knowledge with proven experience in sales or operations.
Proactive and business-focused leadership capability.
Analytical, tech-savvy, and possesses a passion for business development.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
