Job Description
Halisi Family Hospital is a multi-specialty 25-bed inpatient and outpatient hospital in Kitengela, Kajiado County. Founded and managed by doctors, our purpose is to provide high-quality healthcare with integrity and compassion to families in Kitengela and neighboring Kajiado, Machakos, and Nairobi. We are seeking Registered Nurses to work on a locum basis across various departments.
Role Summary
The primary objective is to establish a compassionate environment by providing high-quality clinical care as well as physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Successful candidates will work in the Outpatient Department, Maternity Ward, General Ward, and Theatre.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in specialized and general wards.
Offer physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
Perform nursing duties in the Outpatient Department, Maternity Ward, General Ward, and Theatre as required.
Ensure all clinical practices adhere to the hospital's standards of integrity and compassion.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution (KRCHN, KRN, or BSCN).
Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant and all-rounded work experience in Nursing (including Outpatient, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Paediatric, and Theatre) in a busy hospital setting.
Professional Registration: Must be registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Licensing: Must possess a valid Nursing Practice License.
Certifications: Valid competency in BLS, ACLS, ETAT+, and Emoc will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
