Job Description
Kisumu County is seeking to recruit 107 Registered Nurses (Grade III) to join its health services department. The mission of the county is to transform the livelihood of the people of Kisumu through accountable, efficient, and effective leadership and quality services.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to provide comprehensive nursing care, which includes assessing patients, planning care requirements, and executing nursing interventions to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery across Kisumu County health facilities.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Kenyan Citizenship.
A Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing; Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery; Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health/Psychiatry or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
A Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
A valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Proficiency in computer applications.
General Conditions and Disclaimer
Those with foreign degrees should have them authenticated by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
Candidates will be required to submit academic certificates authenticated by the issuing institutions during the interview.
Chapter 6 requirements (Ethics and Integrity) will only be required from successful applicants.
