Information About the Role
The Tharaka Nithi County Public Service Board (CPSB) is seeking to recruit 35 qualified individuals for the position of Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care and medical services within the county's healthcare facilities. This role involves direct patient care, health education, and administrative coordination within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Registered Nurse shall be responsible to the employer and the supervisor for the following duties:
Offering Nursing Services depending on the level of care deployed.
Guiding and counseling patients, clients, and staff on health issues.
Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities.
Coaching and mentoring students on clinical attachment.
Organizing health management teams and convening health management committee meetings.
Collecting and compiling data for research on nursing services issues.
Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for appointment, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Be a holder of a Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Be registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Possess a valid Practicing License from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Must be computer literate.
