Job Description
The County Government of Kisumu is seeking to recruit seven (7) Registered Clinical Officer III professionals. These officers will be responsible for providing essential healthcare services, including diagnosing and managing common ailments, performing minor surgeries, and promoting community health standards within the county's medical facilities.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat common clinical conditions and ailments within a clinical setting.
Provide medical care and surgery services as per professional standards.
Manage community health initiatives and promote preventive care within the assigned region.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the confidentiality of medical data.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Refer complex cases to specialized medical practitioners as necessary.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Kenyan Citizenship.
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Clinical Medicine and Surgery; Clinical Medicine; Community Health or any other equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
Registration with the Clinical Officers Council.
A valid Professional Practicing License from the Clinical Officers’ Council.
Proficiency in computer applications.
