We are seeking a Pharmacy Team Lead to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure safe and efficient medication management, and support high-quality patient care. The role will focus on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and team leadership within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medication.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations and hospital policies.
Prescription Review: Review prescriptions to promote safe medication use and minimize errors.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory, including stock control, forecasting, and minimizing expiries.
Patient Counseling: Provide patient counseling to support adherence and positive treatment outcomes.
Leadership: Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, including performance management and scheduling.
Coordination: Coordinate with clinical and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Documentation: Maintain proper documentation and support audit readiness.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Registered Pharmacist with a valid practicing license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Demonstrated experience in inventory management and regulatory compliance.
Exposure to chronic disease management programs is an added advantage.
