As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for leading pharmaceutical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing high-quality patient care. This role involves a blend of administrative oversight, clinical leadership, and staff management within a healthcare retail or hospital setting.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Acting as the primary liaison with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) to ensure full compliance with national pharmaceutical laws and standards.\n* Overseeing procurement, warehousing, and inventory control, including proper storage, FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods, and expiry monitoring to prevent stock-outs and waste.\n* Providing medication therapy management, comprehensive patient counseling, and advising physicians on drug usage, dosages, and side effects, particularly for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) like diabetes and hypertension.\n* Managing and supervising junior pharmacists, pharmaceutical technologists, and other pharmacy staff to ensure accurate dispensing and adherence to hospital policies.\n\n### Professional Qualifications and Requirements\n* Must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.\n* Successful completion of a one-year internship.\n* Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).\n* 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.\n* Demonstrable supervisory skills and ability.\n* Remarkable ability to follow through on tasks assigned.\n* Exceptional communication skills.\n* Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner.\n* Sound time management and organizational skills.\n* Knowledge of Health and Personal Care Retail operations.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online through the Career Options Africa Ltd website at or via the application link: .
