We are seeking dedicated Pharmaceutical Technologists to join our team in Nairobi.
Role Overview
Pharmaceutical Technologists are essential to our pharmacy operations, responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, providing professional advice to patients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise and excellent customer service to maintain the high standards of care Pharmaplus is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
Providing patient counseling on drug usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
Managing and monitoring pharmacy inventory and stock levels.
Maintaining accurate pharmaceutical records and documentation.
Ensuring strict compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations.
Offering expert advice on cosmetics and nutraceutical products to customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Valid enrollment and registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience working in a busy pharmacy environment.
Knowledge of Cosmetics and Nutraceuticals is considered an added advantage.
