Job Description
The Tharaka Nithi County Public Service Board (CPSB) is seeking to recruit five (5) Pharmaceutical Technologists. The successful candidates will be responsible to the employer and the supervisor for managing pharmaceutical services within county healthcare facilities to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
Dispensing Drugs and Medical Commodities.
Ordering Medical Commodities.
Participating in Drugs and Therapeutic Committees.
Advising and taking part in Pharmacovigilance.
Collaborating with other Medical personnel in the implementation of care and treatment plans for patients.
Participating in the development of procedures for the department.
Coaching and mentoring students on attachment.
Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Be a holder of a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Be Enrolled with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Possess a valid Practicing License from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Must be computer literate.
