Role Overview

Career Options Africa Ltd is seeking a professional for the Personal Lines Short Term Insurance Client Service & Retentions role. This position is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with South African regulatory standards (FAIS) while being based in Nairobi. The role involves providing advice and intermediary services, handling call resolutions, and ensuring quality assurance across all client interactions.

FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements

This role is governed by the FAIS Act (Advice and Intermediary Service). Candidates must meet the following Fit and Proper requirements:

• Possession of an FSCA-Approved Qualification.
• Successful completion of the Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5).
• Relevant experience as mandated by the FAIS Act.
• Completion of Product Specific Training (provided upon onboarding).
• Completion of Class Of Business Training.
• Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• Attestation to honesty, integrity, and good standing.

Professional Qualifications

• A University degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND).
• A recognized Industry Qualification.
• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Insurance.
