Orthopaedic Trauma Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plaster Services: Providing professional plaster services depending on the level of care required in the facility.
• Patient Counseling: Guiding and counseling patients, clients, and family members on orthopedic-related health issues in consultation with specialists.
• Clinical Coordination: Referring patients and clients appropriately in consultation with other medical team members.
• Mentorship: Coaching and mentoring students on clinical attachment.
• Research and Data: Collecting and compiling data for research on plaster services and related orthopedic issues.
• Resource Management: Ordering and monitoring the usage of orthopedic commodities and supplies.
• General Duties: Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
• Must hold a Certificate in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in computer applications (Must be computer literate).
